Factory Recommended Service/Maintenance
All vehicles will have a recommended service schedule that is created by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will tell you how often to service or replace a specific part. At Oswald Service and Repair, we offer factory recommended service/maintenance. Our ASE certified technicians are highly experienced with all makes and models and will ensure that your vehicle is up to date with servicing. At Oswald Service and Repair, all your factory recommended service/maintenance needs are handled with the latest diagnostic equipment.
Factory recommended service/maintenance includes the following:
- Fluid replacements
- Filter changes (Rexburg Location)
- Tire rotation and pressure adjustments
- Brake pad replacement
- Inspect belts & hoses
- With higher mileage: spark plugs, belts, timing belts when applicable
Hoses
Hoses transfer coolant throughout the engine's cooling system (including the radiator). Inevitably your hoses will dry and crack. When you are ready for a replacement you can count on Oswald Service and Repair.
Belts
A fan belt, also known as a serpentine belt, is a belt connecting your car's engine to the front mounted accessories. Proper fan functioning is imperative because it maintains a cool environment for the engine and its components. Sooner or later, your vehicle's serpentine belts will dry out and crack. The mechanics at Oswald Service and Repair will thoroughly inspect your car's belts; replace all worn belts; and adjust the installed belts.
