I had the misfortune of having my starter go out on me while trying to leave downtown. Being the handy type, I figured, no problem. I tore out the old one right on the side of the street, called O’Reilly Auto Parts and was told, “soorry, but we can’t bring you a new starter, even though it’s sitting right here”. What was a guy to do? Not many parts stores within quick walking range of downtown. Like a vision the Oswald sign flashed across my mind, “maybe they can help!” I walked over and was warmly greeted. I explained my plight and they were happy to help! They called O’Reilly and had the right part delivered to their store for me, bypassing oreilly’s policy of not helping a guy out in a pinch. They were beyond kind and helpful and I am extremely grateful for them. They saved my day and I will be doing business with them in the future.
